A Girl's On-Course Survival Guide to Golf
So who the heck is Christina Ricci? Is she the talented actress from the movie The Addams Family? No. But she is in the top percentile of excellent golfers in the country.
Who is behind the argyle?

Passion and Commitment.

The millions of women who love the game will find in Christina and this book an outreach and enthusiasm that is sure to spread. She’s written this book because she wanted to share her 5-year learning experience in a way that will be an inspiration to other amateur women golfers all over the world. Granted many women are not interested in getting to a 5 but they do want to play well, get the ball airborne and shoot decent scores.

Even though Christina was not a writer by trade, she didn’t hire a ghostwriter. She wanted to do everything including concept, production and design of the book herself to ensure she got a book that was perfect, yes perfect for her audience. She wanted to create a full color, visual book where every page was a full image with short, concise and easy-to-follow steps that would be utilized on the golf course. How can she do this and not be a PGA professional? Simple – take what you know and how you got there including the knowledge from all the lessons from her PGA pros and share them. The fundamentals are not originals but solid fundamental every golfer needs to be a good golfer. The goal was to create a hip, fun book but with serious instruction!

Always Striving

Christina’s new goal is to drop to a scratch. Follow along the course with her and share the decision-making process, mindset, and techniques as she works on her game in her new Survival Guide, Reach Your Goals Survival Guide to Golf. At the same time, work on your individual goals for improving your game. As Christina has discovered, these same strategies offer rewards far beyond the course.

I Thank My Mother

I thank my mother for inspiring me to create A Girl’s On-Course Survival Guide and TEE to GREEN the companion website. My mother began her golfing journey late in life, as many often do, and as I did. Over the last 2 years, I watched her struggle through simple things like chips, alignment and good shoulder turns. Mom was smart. She found a great PGA pro, and started taking lessons. Her improvement has been tremendous. But as we all know, you find yourself on the course, working on what your pro suggests. Great. But what about that sidehill lie? You and your pro didn’t work on that yesterday.

From day one, I have been technically fascinated with the game. I have been called a perfectionist, and I agree. Many times, while on the course, I would help Mom and her friends with quick guidance, like those sidehill lies. Mom and her friends improved and their scores lowered and it made me feel good about helping them. Let me help you.

I Want One!
In my early days, I wish I focused more on developing a Pre-Shot Routine than worrying about mechanics. I would get to the tee box and the thoughts rolled in like a fierce storm; “Ok I need to make a full shoulder turn, I need to use my legs in the downswing”…, and the list went on. Instead, I should have been focusing on one thing: “What is my target?”

Sharing 10 Lessons I Wish I Had Know

The best golf guide for a girl learning to play golf!!!!

My 10 year old daughter has discovered the wonderful world of golf. She is a very good player. We got her this book for Christmas and she loves it. I think that it is helpful for her to see the wrong way and then the right way to stand and swing. To actually see it on paper is a great benefit. Thank you Christina Ricci for writing this book.
